Apologies for the silence – it’s been a busy start to the school year! I don’t have any photos to share but a big shout-out to Fairburn View Primary (Castleford), St Andrew’s CE Primary (Accrington), Gillingstool Primary (Bristol), Silkmore Primary (Stafford) and St Edward’s Primary (Kettering). Fun times!
I do, however, have photos to share from my visit to Pipworth Community Primary School in Sheffield.
Tuesday 3rd October
I had a brilliant day at Pipworth. A big thanks to Mr Behizad for organising everything and looking after me so well. The day kicked off with a Messi reading in the morning assembly and it carried on from there! The kids were great during the workshops – bright, enthusiastic and full of creative stories!
They also had lots of interesting questions for me; about working with my brother, the writing and publishing process, and when I’d be writing my first Sheffield United book!
At the end of the day, I had the chance to chat with the kids and sign copies of the new books. The answer to the big question on everyone’s lips: Ronaldo was more popular than Messi!
